On this day, 6 years ago, HUM played the back patio of a Mexican restaurant (Licha’s Cantina) in Austin, TX. The fire marshal ended up showing up and kicked everyone out before HUM started. After waiting outside the restaurant not knowing if HUM would even play, a deal was made to let 50 people in at a time to watch 2 songs. Groups of 50 would keep rotate in until HUM’s set was finished. I think I ended up seeing 4 songs. It was a mess, but still ended up being a fun time with a good story. Also got some good Mexican food afterwards.
