A few weeks ago I purchased the newest addition to my camera family, the Nikkor 35-70mm f/28D! I purchased it used on eBay where I have actually purchased my last two lenses (I can’t pass up a good deal). I have shot three shows with this lens so far, and I must so I am impressed with the sharpness and the color. The reason for purchasing a new lens is because of the need for me to be able to change focal lengths very quickly to catch a special moment, and with two prime lenses (no zoom) I would miss shots since I only have one camera body. This lens also gives me a constant aperture of 2.8 (that’s where the money is) is pretty good for low light which is mostly what I shoot in.
