Recently I was asked by Flagpole if I was interested in taking some photos of the Whigs for an issue of Flagpole that will be come out around the time of their 40 Watt show on January 26th. Of course I said yes, and met the guys for a photo shoot last Saturday (Dec. 29). I brought the ideas, and they brought the locations and I think it went really well. One of the photos involves a slingshot, but that’s all I am going to tell you. So come late January keep on the lookout for the photos in Flagpole. I won’t spoil the surprise by posting any photos.

I will also be riding with the Whigs for two of their upcoming shows. Friday, January 4 at the Hummingbird in Macon, GA and Saturday, January 5 at the Soul Bar in Augusta, GA. It will be the first time I have ever seen a show in either location. They will be playing both shows with Athens band Dead Confederate. Stay tuned for photos from the shows.
