Bye bye Gallery2, hello Singapore!

As some of you might have noticed, my photo gallery was having issues again and would give “internal server error”‘ messages when trying to view photos. I finally talked with my hosting at globat.com and found out that mod_rewrite is supported but some commands are not (redirect) which my gallery was using. After disabling mod_rewrite it would work when going straight to the gallery page, but when viewing it inside wordpress using WPG2 it would still give me the internal errors. I finally had enough of fooling with it and uninstalled it and went back to the gallery script I used to use called Singapore. They have released a few new versions since I last used it, but they also added the ability to intergrate into wordpress quite easily. There are still some bugs to work out, but it works flawlessly for the most part. It seems right now I can’t get top level albums to display a thumbail for that album. Hopefully this is a bug with the new version.
